“Not Guilty” James Bain released from prison after 35 Years Behind Bars
James Bain used a cell phone for the first time after being in prison for over three decades for a crime he did not commit. Having been arrested in 1974 for kidnapping and rapping a 9-year-old boy, thanks to DNA he was finally free on Thursday. When interviewed James Bain said “I’m not angry”.
He was arrested at the age of 19 and had spent 35 years of his life behind bars, using a mobile phone to call his ill health mother for the first time, shows that he has a hell of a lot of worldly things to catch up with. However the most important part is that he can spend the rest of is life with his family. How he managed it is hard for anyone to comprehend, having faith on your side is definitely and bonus for if you believe and love god no one or something can hold you down.
When I read that Bain said “I got God in my head,” and “I knew one day he will reveal me.” is true faith in the lord, we should all look at this man and then look at our own lives. We moan about what we have already, not satisfied, James had a cell for 35 years, and still believe in god, very humbling.
